Situated on KeeLung Road 基隆路 in the XinYi District 信義區 near Taipei 101, we dropped in here after a good hike up Elephant Mountain 象山 and Mount Thumb 姆指山, has to be a good way to end a hike, right?

What we ordered:

1. 鮭魚新樂園沙拉 guī yú xīn lè yuán shā lā  Smoked salmon Salad $250

2. 熔岩起司手打牛肉堡 róng yán qǐ sī shǒu dǎ niú ròu bǎo  Mashed potato beef burger $260

A good (and more importantly, appropriately priced) salad isn't that easy to find in Taipei. Unfortunately, I'd have to say that this also doesn't quite tick the box. It's good value for money in respect to the amount of actual salad that you get, but I really don't think the salmon is that plentiful.

2. 熔岩起司手打牛肉堡 róng yán qǐ sī shǒu dǎ niú ròu bǎo  Mashed potato beef burger $260

A scoop of mashed potato sat on top of a well-cooked burger in a delicious bun is exactly what I found, here. It's a solid burger. It's winning no awards, but it's certainly a reliable burger in a comfortable atmosphere.

The bill isn't bad, really. I'd say that $510 for a salad with salmon and a burger is a fairly decent price.
